Plot Bunnies

Here are some of my plot bunnies. You can use them for one-shots, full blown fics, or as elements to add to a fic you're already writing.

Fan Fiction (Harry Potter)

1. Arthur, Bill, and Lupin form a wizard rock band. What do their friends, family, and women think? How does the wizarding world react to the strange trio?

2. Tonks' days of training as an Auror.

3. Luna's father dies and she takes over the Quibbler.

4. Extension to the above: Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville (or anyone else you want) help Luna out by writing for the Quibbler. Harry writes political articles, Ron does sports, Hermione for House-Elf, half-breed equality, and Neville does gardening. If you want to change them, feel free. Do they use pennames? If so, what are they?

5. At the trial of Draco Malfoy, who attends and do they convict him?

6. Besides Stan Shunpike what other wizards have been wrongfully imprisoned this time around? What did they do to attract the Ministry's attention, what were their lives like/what were they like? Could be wizards we met before, or OC's.

7. Muggle TV is introduced an Luna get's her own cooking show.

8. Extension to the above, Rita Skeeter get's her own celeb talkshow.

9. What were the other Order members first impressions of Tonks?

10. Someone at Hogwarts either starts taking the students confessions, or a secret box is set up. For the secret box the students write down whatever they need to get off their chest. Who confesses and what have they done, and what secrets do the tell?

11. The war is over and the trio is okay, but Ginny lies in spell induced coma at St Mungo's.

12. During a fight with dark wizards Harry get's hit by a curse and becomes temporarily/permanently paralyzed and is confined to a Muggle wheelchair. How does he and his friends react to this?

13. Sometime after the war Harry goes through a bitter divorce from his witch wife. He is harsh and angry. Then he meets a wild, young Muggle dancer.

14. Luna get's lost in the Forbidden Forest.

15. Once a year the veil between two worlds thins and the dead get a peak at the lives of the living. Who looks in on who? There are many possibilities for this, like James and Lily (or just one of them) looking in on post-war Harry and his family.

16. What if Dean didn't take his breakup with Ginny well, and now wants revenge on Harry?

17. good!Snape is brutally attacked and shows up on the Order's doorstep asking for help and proclaiming that he's still working for them. Harry is there, does he help him? Make it any of the Order members if you want,

18. Scrimgeour decides to force Harry to help him by making the lives of his friends very difficult, particularly that of werewolf Remus Lupin. Scrimgeour says he'll give Lupin what little rights he had back, and Mr. Weasley his job if Harry agrees to work for the Ministry.

19. Harry finds the Mirror of Erised and discovers that when Quirrell died his soul was trapped in it.

20. In post-Voldemort wizarding world, the Minstry gives every wizard a numbered dog tag that tracks them at all times. All magical people in the UK must wear it at all times. What other "big brother" type of things does the Ministry do?

21. Sort of crossover: The wizarding world loses it's magic, but some wizards develop elemental powers a-la Avatar: The Last Airbender, water, earth, fire, and air.

22. Harry is gravely injured. As he lies in between life and death he gets a glimpse of the next world, and speaks with Dumbledore.

23. Voldemort is having trouble killing Harry (stupid bastard just won't die!) so he gives him the Draught of the Living Dead and puts him to sleep. If it interests you you can have him lock Harry in a coffin and seal it shut with magic.

24. One of the characters get's trapped inside their own mind with another character and they're forced to relive all their memories. Sort of like on Angel. Draco and Harry (slash or non-slash, though non-slash would work best in my opinion) would be a good choice.

25. Instead of a Marauders days at school, of Harry & co's, what about Tonks?

26. AU: Tonks and Lupin attend a Qudditch game (a real one, not at Hogwarts).

27. Bill and Fleur try decide which school Victoire will attend, Hogwarts or Beauxbatons.

28. Andromeda's first month with Teddy after her daughter dies.

29. Andromeda prepares to send Teddy off to his first term at Hogwarts. What are her thoughts?

30. We've all seen the fic where Harry goes back (or one of the trio) and meets the Marauders. Now it's Teddy's turn.

31. AU: Andromeda doesn't want Teddy, the Ministry thinks Harry's too young, so he goes to the next of kin, the Malfoy's.

32. Neville goes to St. Mungos to tell his parents he's getting married (canon: Hannah Abbott, but you can make it whoever you want).

33. After the death of Cedric Cho goes roving from wizard to wizard, and ends up having an affair with a married man (suggestion: Draco Malfoy).
